Room 42 is excited to share something special for our young people, the relaunch of Tigers Trust’s Care to Dream sessions! These weekly sessions are designed for care experienced young people aged 16+
These weekly sessions are designed for care experienced young people aged 16+ from Hull and the East Riding, a chance to get together, try something new, and find your tribe.
Care to Dream isn’t just about football (although there’s plenty of that!), it’s about belonging, building confidence, and discovering what’s next, whether that’s friendships, training, volunteering, or just having a laugh with people who get it.
There’ll be guest speakers, opportunities to get involved with Tigers Trust, and even free Hull City match tickets for those who attend. (And rumour has it, a few of the players might drop by too).
Date: Tuesday 21st October
Time: 4:30–5:30pm – Kickabout session: relaxed football and fun warm-ups
5:30–6:30pm – Food, refreshments, guest stories, info session, and prizes
Location: Tigers Trust Arena, Walton Street, HU3 6GA
Come for the football, stay for the food, fun, and new faces.
No pressure. just a friendly, welcoming space to hang out and see what Care to Dream is all about.
Who Can Come?
• Care-experienced young people aged 16 and over from Hull or East Riding
• If you’re 16–17, you’ll just need your social worker or guardian involved to make sure consent and travel are sorted
• Supporters, carers, social workers, mentors are also welcome to come along and chill in the arena while the session runs
(This session is not run by Hull Fostering or Room 42. Tigers Trust will manage all consent and emergency contact forms.)
So whether you’re a young person wanting to get involved, or someone supporting care leavers, you’re more than welcome to turn up, have a kick about and eat pizza!
