Hull-born actor Liam Garrigan, known for his powerful performances in both television and film, has joined Hull Fostering as an official ambassador, using his platform to encourage families across the region to consider fostering. As a proud father himself, Liam understands the importance of a loving, stable home and is calling on the people of Hull to step forward and make a life-changing difference for children in need. Liam, who grew up in Hull, has always carried a deep connection to the city and its people. Best known for his roles in acclaimed productions such as Transformers: The Last Knight, The Terror, and Once Upon a Time, his career has taken him around the world, but his heart has always remained in his hometown. Hull Fostering works tirelessly to recruit foster carers and supported lodgings providers for Hull’s looked-after children. With Liam’s involvement, we hope to elevate awareness of the urgent need for more foster families and challenge some of the misconceptions that prevent people from coming forward. Liam’s presence in this campaign is invaluable. As a well-known and respected figure, his voice will help us reach new audiences and inspire potential carers who may not have previously considered fostering. His passion, authenticity, and love for Hull make him the perfect person to front this initiative.
