The group aims to give children and young people the chance to discuss what matters to them and have a say in the development of the support and services they receive. It also provides valuable insight into the experiences of children looked after. Young Voices Influencing Care generally focus on themes and issues identified by looked after children and young people in Hull.
What happens at Young Voices Influencing Care meetings
- Meet new people who share your experiences, socialise, and have fun!
- Have your say about the things that matter to you
- Share your views, ideas, and feelings, and help shape the support and services you receive as a looked-after young person
- Work on a range of exciting and creative projects with other young people
- Represent children and young people looked after to the local authority and at national events
