Hair Donated for Princess Trust by Foster Children, Hull Fostering

Two young members of our fostering community, aged 9 and 8, donated their hair to The Princess Trust

In a heartwarming act of generosity, two of our fostering community aged 9 and 8 have donated their long hair to The Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their hair due to illness.

Inspired by stories of children battling cancer and other illnesses, the two girls wanted to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most, so the two sisters decided to grow their hair for over 2 years with the sole purpose of donating it.

Their foster carer Gary, said; “The girls wanted to help other kids who are going through tough times. It makes us all happy to know that their hair will be used to make someone else smile. The girls have shown incredible kindness and maturity and it’s wonderful to see them so committed to helping others.”

The Princess Trust has been providing wigs to children and young people for over a decade. What a wonderful thing they have done.

We are immensely proud of these two young girls, who have remained dedicated to this cause and are always thinking of others.
