Passionate about helping children in Hull find loving foster families? We’re seeking volunteers to assist at events, information stalls, and community activities.
We are excited to announce that we are now seeking dedicated volunteers to assist at our events, information stalls, and various activities aimed at strengthening our fostering community.
As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in our mission to find more individuals willing to consider fostering.
Your involvement will include -
- Hosting Information Stalls - Engage with the public in high-traffic areas of Hull, such as shopping centres and events like Pride and Playdays, to raise awareness about fostering
- Supporting Community Events - Assist during parties and gatherings, including our weekly Fostering Community Hub held in the evenings and occasional weekends, fostering a sense of community among foster families
We are committed to supporting our volunteers by providing -
- Comprehensive Training - All the necessary training to equip you for your volunteer role
- DBS Check - As your role will involve contact with children, we will conduct a DBS check at no cost to you
Many people have expressed a desire to support Hull Fostering but are currently unable to foster.
If you still wish to contribute, we now have an opportunity for you.
There are no minimum hours required; we will work with your availability and interests to ensure you are happy and motivated in your volunteering role.
